Overview of the College for Graduate Studies
 

The College of Natural and Health Sciences at Virginia State University offers rigorous graduate programs designed to prepare scholars, researchers, and practitioners for advanced roles in science and health-related fields. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge, applied research, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the College fosters academic excellence and scientific inquiry at the graduate level. Students pursuing a Master of Science in Biology or Psychology, or a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Psychology, are immersed in a challenging curriculum that promotes critical thinking, ethical practice, and evidence-based innovation. • Equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding necessary to contribute to the advancement of health science and psychological well-being.
